Beer Integrated Farm — Now In Progress

A 100-hectare farm ASAD is building in Beer, Togdheer, to bring fresh
vegetables, fruit, and livestock closer to Burao and surrounding
Togdheer communities. The land is secured, the feasibility study and
engineering master plan are complete, and the Somaliland Ministry of
Agriculture has committed bulldozer services, technical assistance,
and certified seeds. With donor support, this farm will produce
fresh food, create local jobs, and reach more than 200,000 people
across Burao, Beer, and the wider Togdheer region.
